The unabated merciless killings and abductions of political activists led us to the initial conclusion that these are just the result of the implementation of a subsisting official "modus operandi" (involving the Philippine Military/PNP and the Department of Justice of the GMA Government), aimed at silencing oppositions against the GMA Government. Government should do something to convince us that we are wrong in our initial conclusion.

Our staff member, Jocylyn Suemith-Calimbo, a nurse had been the latest victim in Davao. Her brother also was shot dead. They posted a bail for Nerito Calimbo, who had been arrested for robbery. All three were shot in a broad daylight, in a street where there were so many people,

Extra Judicial Killing by its nature is evil. Tears,pain,public disorder and injustice are the only fruits of this condemnable action.

On my watch as IPON-volunteer Kagawad Deolito Empas was abducted in Sitio Centro, Barangay San Vicente, San Narciso, Quezon, by three armed men on March 8th, 2008. He was brutally tortured and killed. His body was found four weeks later. He left behind 7 children, the youngest one being 2 yrs. old. May his death not go unpunished! Justice matters!

Just stop this incredulous suffering.

Our friend Deolito was among the murdered. What an outrage in a civilized country!

Stop killing Filipinos! They mean well to our country. They are not criminals.

It's time for the international community to enforce the protection of everyone's human rights!

Let us all fight for our justice! Transformation always begin with I. let's take the initiative to make a change.
