Recent years have seen an extraordinary number of extra-judicial killings of political leaders and human rights defenders in the Philippines. The Asian Human Rights Commission believes that these killings are preventable, but will only stop if the local and international community publicly condemn and pressure the government of the Philippines into taking action.

The unabated merciless killings and abductions of political activists led us to the initial conclusion that these are just the result of the implementation of a subsisting official "modus operandi" (involving the Philippine Military/PNP and the Department of Justice of the GMA Government), aimed at silencing oppositions against the GMA Government. Government should do something to convince us that we are wrong in our initial conclusion.

It's time to wake up my fellow filipinos.we have a lot of good qualities and as a race we are unique.let's demonstrate to the world that we , inspite of the sad fact that we are empoverished people, we are but good natured and unique.I hope we'll be united for this cause that i and my group is trying to initiate a campaign to pass the law. to implement the trial by jury in our country. a legacy to filipino yet unborn and a legacy to the coming generation.united we stand, divided we fall. so, help us God.
