I am very disappointed that the Philippines government, which does little to protect human rights while also attacking human rights defenders (churches, journalists, etc.), continues to benefit from the tacit support of other governments.

May peace return to earth , especially where human rights are violated. Love your neighbor as yourself!

We confuse democracy with capitalism. We confuse freedom with greed. Our confusion will kill us. We need to grow up and learn how to share. Privatization is anti-democratic. The common good has been victimized by the idolatry of the corporate person. Supply side economics perverts the common good into an instrument of corporate profit. Supply side economics objectifies the individual and violates the sanctity of the human spirit. Supply side economics is immoral. How can the us deny usage of what the us stole? Change the us flag. It is nothing more than notches on a bed post celebrating land acquisition through genocide, aggressive war and manipulative contracting. Manifest Destiny is a racist delusional concept and should be removed from our educational system..

This "War on Terrorism" is wrong and I refuse to support it. The people of the world are NOT our enemies. They are our sisters and our brothers. They are our friends and neighbours. It's alright to disagree with each other's politics, but it's NOT alright for us to be bombing each other to oblivion. We all need to find a way to work out our differences and work for a common solution to our problems.

There is no room for injustice on the planet. It disables everyone and disables the future.

We need rule of law and respect for human rights.

The Greek people has suffered in the past many losses of valiant militants due to extrajudicial killings. We fully condemn the criminal, anti-people policy of the US-Arroyo regime and their agents.

Who gives anyone the right to take another persons life?? Stop and think of the Mother who has just lost a son, a child who has just lost a dad or the husband who has just lost his wife and unborn child. How dare the government do this - IT HAS TO STOP NOW!! Murder is not accepted here so why are we sitting around watching it happen in the Philippines??

Please help to end the political killings of union and political leaders in the philippines.

Killing of people without justice is not right. Corruption is a hindrance of progress.

As a Catholic theologian, I am appalled by any government's attempts to degrade humans and deny the sanctity of human life. But it is most disturbing that senseless killing should happen in a predominantly Catholic country. I urge all of you to intervene strenuously in this situation and to allow Catholic and democratic ideals upholding human rights to take hold.

Please respect the working people of the Philippines and their right to a decent life. The killings must stop.

What surprises me if the lack of any personal statement coming from President Gloria Macapagal. There is no political will coming from her to solve these crimes, thus giving the impression that it has her blessings.

Freedom of Opinion is a citizens right that should not mean death. What happened to democracy. Justice must be taken against those who kill innocent people in the name of employer greed. No authority has the right to kidnap and kill the trade unions activists. We strongly condemn these types of doing by the Philippin government. We are calling the government of Philippin to start dialogues with the NGO and the Trade Unions leaders for a better and peaceful Philippin
